I was born and raised in Patiala, Punjab. I started boxing at a very late age, at 15, and I was practicing boxing at NIS Patiala (Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports).
At NIS, I learned the basics of boxing rules, punches, stance, and footwork. In the morning, I mostly focused on cardio and strength training. In the afternoon, my training included boxing techniques, drills, and sparring sessions on Tuesdays and Fridays. Sparring is beneficial in many ways, such as understanding how an opponent thinks, their fighting style, and recognizing our own mistakes to correct them in the future. When engaging in sparring, it's crucial to choose the right partner and approach it without anger. Sparring serves as an excellent way to learn from mistakes in boxing, Muay Thai, or any martial art. A sparring partner provides a perspective on how a real fight may unfold and contributes to building confidence.

























Following that, I got really into fitness—learning how our bodies respond to different workouts and exploring various training techniques. This interest prompted me to take a Personal Training course (EREPS and SPEFL-SC) at Fitness Academy Mohali. My main goal is to spread the message about the importance of staying active for both mental and physical well-being. I'm all about breaking the misconception that you need a fancy gym to stay fit, it's more about having the right mindset and knowledge.
After completing the course and gaining some experience, I had the opportunity to travel to Thailand and decided to learn about Muay Thai. I took a Muay Thai course at the Muay Thai Professional Camp named 'Porn. Chimplee' in Pattaya City, where I learned a lot from the coaches and fighters. In the first few days, I felt a bit confused because my background is in boxing, which involves different techniques, and it took some time to connect the muscles. However, after practicing every day, I got used to it and could engage in sparring with other fighters.
